Job Description:

CCC Health Care Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to providepersonalized care and support to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, as well as mental health needs. Asa DSP, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals to achieve greater independence and enhance their quality of life within a safe, nurturing environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

Support individuals in attending medical appointments, social events, and community engagement activities.

Foster a safe and supportive environment that encourages independence and personal growth.

Implement and follow individualized service plans (ISPs) to achieve specific goals.

Monitor and document progress, behavior, and activities in compliance with company policies and state regulations.

Communicate effectively with team members, families, and other stakeholders regarding care and well-being.

Ensure a clean, organized, and safe living environment for all residents.

 

Qualifications:

 

High school diploma or GED required; additional training or certifications in disability services or mental health preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a group home or similar setting.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to maintain a professional and compassionate approach in a variety of situations.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Physical ability to assist with mobility, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
